JOB DESCRIPTION

Job description

We have multiple opportunities for Process Workers to join the team, where you would be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to the manufacture of Youfoodz products. Process Worker roles are available on a casual basis (with potential for permanent) with shifts available across the morning and afternoon.

You will...

Place food into containers, ensuring that appropriate presentation is maintained;  Weigh each food component as placed into container, ensuring that required weight requirements are met;  Sleeve meals at required pace;  Inform Team Leader/Supervisor/Team Manager (or other appropriate person) of any issues impacting quality or food safety in a timely manner;  Cleaning equipment and workspace to an appropriate standard as required;  General food preparation and portioning;  Work in a cool/hot environment.

What are we looking for...

At least three months’ experience in manufacturing environment is preferred  Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment Ability to learn Food Safety practices, HACCP and experience with WH&S principles Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail Ability to lift and move objects up to 20kg Knife skills required for some roles Flexibility to work various shifts, including day and afternoon/night shifts.

Ability to perform work in a cool environment Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently Sound communication skills, including understanding of and conversational ability in the English language, both written and verbal The ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency when completing tasks Ability to work as part of a team High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
