This role sits within Insurance Product and Portfolio with a specific focus on Commercial Short Tail Corporate Products

The role will work to deliver the Commercial insurance strategy and will execute a program of work focussed on delivering against a dynamic and optimal P&L in the short, medium & long term using hands-on pricing analysis and modelling.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute pricing models across a range of products such as including Corporate Property, Fleet motor, Engineering etc)
  • Providing business pricing expertise and advice to continuously innovate, simplify and automate current pricing solutions within a dynamic environment across the pricing family
  • Integrate data science capabilities with traditional pricing methods to deliver recommendation to varied stakeholders
  • Develop and integrate Commercial data capability and pricing insights across all Commercial Insurance products
  • Development of pricing frameworks for improved risk selection to achieve business goals

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science etc.
  • Experience in using SAS and R
  • 2-3 years experience with general insurance Actuarial, Analytical or Pricing related field of work
