The Peninsula View Retirement Living in Frankston, Victoria, is actively welcoming new residents and is offering Permanent Part Time opportunities for a Café all-rounder. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours. Your primary role is to provide our residents, families, and staff with assistance in customer service and delivering meals in a café / function room environment and support café operations in line with service standards and the food Safety Program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of meals across dining areas within a residence.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and assist with the preparation of sandwiches & heating basic food to orders.
  • Provide support for function planning and delivery.
  • Ensure all catering facilities food safety program schedule is adhered to.
  • Assist customers with service delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Ensuring all staff in catering department maintain safe food handling practices and compliance.

About you

  • A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member
  • Ability to listen and understand our client's needs and requirements.
  • Availability in work over 3-day roster Wednesday to Friday.
  • Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge of Food Safely and HACCP compliance
  • Coffee & Sandwich making experience is a MUST.
  • Previous experience in a café/restaurant environment.
  • Must be able to operate POS systems.
