About The Opportunity

As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a crucial role in our client's operations, ensuring that the electrical systems of heavy vehicles and equipment function flawlessly. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure a safe and efficient workplace
• Install electrical harnesses and components
• Mentor and assist apprentices in skill development
• Build and assemble control panels and wiring looms
• Integrate electrical systems to enhance vehicle performance
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on complex system
• Assist in prototype development and building innovative machines

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician or Electrical Fitter
• Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable work ethic
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and diagnose faults
• Skills in disassembling/reassembling vehicle parts and fault-finding
• Experience with wiring looms, control panels, and basic hand tools
• Experience with auto electrical systems in heavy vehicles (12/24 volt systems)
• Passion for automotive technology and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
