Plumber

Key Responsibilities include

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trim.
• Participate in regular appraisal processes to assess performance and provide feedback.
• Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.
• Undertake technical training and attend team and individual meetings as required.
• Apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture.
• Deliver excellent maintenance services to guests and the Operations Management team.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, facilitating audits of Building Services.

The successful applicant must have

• Queensland Licensed Plumber/Drainer/Gasfitter with the following endorsements:
  • Backflow Prevention (desirable)
  • Thermostatic Mixing Valves
  • Solar/Heat Pump Hot Water System Installation
• At least five years experience of similar work, preferably in the service industry/hospitality/high volume hotel-style services over multiple sites.
• Previous experience in commercial gas cooking appliance maintenance and repair is highly regarded
• Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of electric, gas, heat pump hot water systems
• Licensed Drainer for On-site Sewerage Facilities
• Licensed Water Plumber for Fire Protection (domestic and residential)
• Confined Space ticket (desirable)
