The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Store person to join the team at Hemmant.

Role responsibilities

  • Order picking
  • Unloading and put away of incoming goods (both local and overseas)
  • Quality checks
  • Operation of MHE (Order Picker and Forklift)
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles
  • Labelling and storing parts accurately
  • Stock counting
  • Preparing orders for despatch
  • Contribute to process improvement
  • General warehouse duties as required 

Does this sound like you?

  • Previous Warehousing experience in a fast pace environment - essential 
  • LF Licence (Forklift) - essential
  • LO Licence (Order Picker) - desirable
  • Mechanical or automotive experience is desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Understanding safe work practices - OH&S
  • Want to be part of a growing, dynamic team
