Davidson Technology have partnered with an Australian federal government organisation in their search for a Hashicorp Vault Technical Engineer and SME.

About the Role

This role is an initial 12 month contract with a high likelihood of multiple extensions. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for delivering cutting edge security technologies and would transition post project to manage the products in BAU. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead designing feature enhancements, implementation, and maintenance of a secure secrets management infrastructure using Hashicorp Vault.
  • Perform a technical leadership role, operating potentially as a Product Owner in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide broad technical support, design and engineering services for a project build, test and solution deployments.
  • Liaise on technical discussions with infrastructure, cyber security and development teams to address their requirements for a secure credential management solution.

About you

We are looking for experience with the following technologies:

  • Hashicorp Vault (Enterprise version) across deployment, configuration and maintenance
  • Linux
  • Ansible
  • GitLab
  • VMWare and OpenStack
