About the role
The role will involve assisting in the provision of unit based clinical pharmacy services on a rotational basis including the opportunity to undertake credentialing for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting (PPMC) and pharmacist initiated NRT for inpatients. Possible rotations to operational services including dispensary, manufacturing services and Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) may occur.
Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance. In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures as well as formal education programs including the SHPA Foundation Residency Program.
Remuneration will be award-based according to experience.
Key responsibilities include active contribution to:
Provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services (assessment, intervention, advocacy and consultation) on a rotational basis Effective patient flow principlesMentoring and clinical supervision of pharmacy students, interns, residents and other Grampians Health staffPharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programsSkills and experience
Currently hold or be eligible for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of AustraliaPrior hospital pharmacy experience is preferredCulture & Benefits
