The Opportunity

HeliMods is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Analyst (“HR Analyst”), with a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.

As the HR Analyst at HeliMods, you will be responsible for managing, analysing and reporting team-related data including policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Head of Technology and Support, you will have key responsibility for the management of HeliMods people data collection and reporting functions including the provision of data driven insights allowing HeliMods Business Unit Leaders to make informed decisions that enhance our team wellbeing, people management and performance management capabilities.

Your role will also ensure that HeliMods Human Resources policies and procedures represent industry best practice and will include management of external consultants who provide guidance on best practice and compliance.

You will be required to work as part of our agile, collaborative and growing team, providing data driven support that helps our Business Units and their staff to achieve great outcomes such that HeliMods continues to lead the market in advancing aerospace technologies for civil and defence aviation programs worldwide.

The HR Analyst is a critical role requiring an outcome focused manager with excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities together with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role requires a team player with a deep appreciation of the importance of maintaining an excellent workplace culture.

Requirements

  • High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism;
  • Understanding of HR processes, policies and industry best practices and the importance of a collaborative and respectful team-based work culture;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret large data sets and report actionable insights in a concise manner;
  • A high level of attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and integrity of data;
  • Proven experience as HR Analyst or in a senior analytical role;
  • A natural interest in technology including its use to drive efficiency and high productivity;
  • Hands-on expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Mathematics, Business Management, Economics or related field.

Inherent Requirements

  • Does not have an existing criminal conviction.
  • Due to the nature and privilege of information, and in accordance with Australian Standards for Workforce Screening (ISO 4811-2022), it is an inherent requirement that a security clearance and police check are obtained prior to employment. HeliMods will cover the cost of these clearances should your application be successful.
