Job Description

Full-time, permanent position based in Dandenong South Working hours from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday

The Prep Technician is responsible for day to day mould and asbestos sample preparation and analysis. 

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, duties for this role will include but are not limited to:

Preparation of mould samples – Tape, Swab and Spore traps Preparation of E.coli/Coliform samples Analysing mould samples via light microscopy – Tape, Swab and Spore traps Analysing E.coli/Coliform samples Preparation of asbestos samples Participating in proficiency and inter-laboratory testing Conducting quality control procedures

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Science Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
