Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia to deliver the first stage of the Gold Coast’s largest road infrastructure project will involve construction of six new bridge structures in an environment with unique geotechnical conditions and challenging interfacing on a gazetted green-field site.

About the role:

Based at our site offices in Coomera and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Engineer will be responsible for:

Ensure construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed the required performance targets in relation to time, cost and quality Maintain our contractual schedule/program, including productivity units and extension of time Engagement and management of subcontractors from tender to scope delivery in a way to embodies our vision to be ‘the best people to work with’ Monitor and report on task productivity, financial outcomes and performing cost control to ensure project targets are optimised Provide daily support, team supervision and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria Ensure project HSEQ objectives are set, shared and adhered to in order to maintain an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way'

What you’re good at:

Aside from having relevant tertiary qualifications and similar project experience, you’re driven and confident in your management and planning abilities with both contractors/suppliers and project compliance as well as possess high standards in managing safety, quality and environment. You will have experience with civil and/or structural engineering principles. Knowledge of and experience in Public Utility Plant (PUP) would be highly desirable. Our engineering teams are innovative, always ready for a laugh and willing to go out of their way to help each other and roll up their sleeves to drive positive project outcomes.
