Requirements

The Purpose:

As the Senior iOS Engineer, you will work in a collaborative team where you will be instrumental in the successful design and development of high-quality mobile applications.  

You will collaborate with the wider team and internal stakeholders on the design and implementation of new functionalities and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. 

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-profile iOS applications and externally distributed SDKs. 
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that follows software engineering best practice. 
  • Ensure the scalability, performance and responsiveness of our code bases. 
  • Uphold the security, compliance and accessibility requirements of high-profile payment experiences. 
  • Collaborating with your peers through knowledge sharing, driving continuous improvements and code review to empower growth. 
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development and provide recommendations for improvement. 
  • Working closely and collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to identify and define application requirements. 

We'd love to hear from you if have:

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience in designing, implementing and maintaining native iOS applications. 
  • Deep experience in the Swift programming language. 
  • Extensive experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI and Combine. 
  • Deep knowledge of iOS engineering fundamentals and app/server interaction. 
  • Solid understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and design principles. 
  • Experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Experience working in teams that use agile methodologies. 
  • Commercial experience working in payments, finance or digital marketplaces is advantageous. 
  • Commercial experience authoring mobile SDKs would be advantageous.
