Tug Engineer

Smit Lamnalco is seeking expressions of interest from  qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Engineers for our Mackay Towage operations. We are looking for pro-active and diligent crew to join our growing fleet on a permanent basis.

Where appropriate, training will be provided as part of your job

To be considered for this opportunity applicants will hold:

• Minimum AMSA Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3 Certificate of Competency. In the case of a Class 3, the holder most also possess a relevant trade qualification (fitter & turner, electrical fitter, diesel fitter) or other equivalent engineering trade.
• The successful applicant(s) must hold a current AMSA Certificate of Competency, AMSA Medical and MSIC. This is a full time position.
• The successful candidate/s must live locally in Mackay and will be required to satisfy a company pre-employment medical.
