As an Event Logistics Captain , you will be responsible for providing an engaging, efficient and high-quality service by coordinating our Event Logistics team members while on shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your event logistics leadership expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members and assist the Management Team with on-the-job training and development of the team
  • Supervise the service flow and performance standards within the outlet.
  • Make recommendations to the Manager that will assist in maximising productivity of the outlet
  • Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings and ensure a smooth transition and handover between all shifts. Including the completion of any daily/shift swap log reports if required.
  • Encourage a positive working relationship between Food and Beverage outlets and other departments within the company.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality desirable
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing productive workplace relationships
  • Forklift, Traffic, and White Card License
