Our client is an Australian company specialising in agriculture and infrastructure with a portfolio of assets and operations across the country, they are a market leader in their field. With the backing of one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, they have the support and capital of a team of experienced investors to accelerate their growth. As such they are looking to bolster the Australian team with a Corporate Development Associate providing financial and strategic analysis that will support the dual growth strategies of M&A and organic expansion and capital expenditure across the business

We are seeking candidates with 2+ years’ experience within consulting, investment banking, Big Four accounting firm or private equity with exposure to business financial analysis, research, reporting and acquisitions/disposals. High proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, including understanding a variety of business/revenue models and key financial statements is essential. Any exposure to infrastructure fundamentals would be highly regarded, as would the opportunity to work autonomously in a small but dynamic team.
You will work under the direction of the CFO and CEO in alignment with the board of directors to develop and establish actionable plans for the company. You will also be supporting the company’s M&A strategy including target identification, due diligence and internal IC committee presentations.
