Since 2008, we’ve grown our footprint across Australia and New Zealand with over 140+ stores and two online sites. Innovation drives us forward, and we’re constantly challenging ourselves to be better than yesterday. We’re incredibly proud of our DREAM TEAM, investing in continuous learning and development to empower our team members to succeed.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Junior Garment Technician to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the QA Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in upholding DECJUBA’s high standards for fit, quality, and workmanship for our women's wear category. From preparing tech packs to assisting in fit sessions, you’ll be hands-on in supporting the development and execution of products that exceed our customers' expectations. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about quality in fashion, and ready to be part of something AMAZING, we’d love to hear from you

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the QA team to prepare tech packs, measurement charts, and label pages, ensuring all buyer requirements are met.
  • Assist in creating detailed fit comments to support the progression of each sample stage, upholding DECJUBA’s standards in fit, key measures, and workmanship.
  • Support in preparing samples for fit sessions, including steaming, measuring, and assessing garment construction.
  • Drive the pace of fit sessions under supervision, enabling smooth and efficient communication and feedback processes.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, working directly with suppliers to provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop understanding of fabric testing methods, aftercare, and labelling requirements for assigned categories.
  • Maintain and manage the critical path, proactively addressing any potential delays or challenges.
  • Conduct store visits and distribution centre assessments to review quality standards in real time.
  • Provide general support across QA categories, contributing to the broader QA goals.

ABOUT YOU
You bring strong technical knowledge and a passion for fashion quality. With 1-2 years of experience in a QA role within womenswear, you have a clear understanding of garment construction and grading standards. You’re highly organised, solutions-focused, and skilled in both written and verbal communication. Most importantly, you have a collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude to deliver results that make an impact.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Tertiary qualification in Fashion/Textiles (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical skills in garment construction and quality assurance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
