The Opportunity
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our Quarry Team at our DMC Quarry located in Tenterfield NSW. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the effective and efficient mechanical service involving the repair, servicing and maintenance of plant and heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities will include

  • Mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance, including preventative maintenance of company-owned plant, fixed and mobile crushers and screens, heavy and light vehicles. 
  • Ordering and maintaining parts and lubricants
  • Utilisation of existing and new maintenance management systems
  • Scheduling and maintaining accurate records of work completed
  • A strong safety focus and commitment to safety onsite

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Have a trade qualification - Diesel Mechanic
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated previous experience in mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance of plant and heavy vehicles
  • Have a current drivers licence – HR, HC or MC
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
