The Role
ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Scoresby, equipped with the latest in analytical technology. This is a casual opportunity for a Laboratory Technician with chemistry credentials to join our client-focused team in a Tuesday-Saturday shift role, 10am - 6pm .
The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.
The day to day
The Essentials
One year’s relevant experience (a degree or diploma preferred). Good communication and interpersonal skills. High level attention to detail. Good chemical knowledge. Ability to work autonomously or in a team. Ability to plan and organise work. Ability to complete manual handling tasks. Judgement and problem-solving skills. Client service focus. Positive attitude to safety requirements. Appropriate level of aptitude on the tests allocated.
