Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at Maven Dental Ferny Grove Join Our Team as a Casual Dental Assistant 

Our well established 3 chair dental practice is focused on delivering smiles and positive experiences to each and every patient. We offer a friendly environment, advanced technology, exceptional service and a comprehensive range of dental treatments from check-up and cleans to teeth whitening to Invisalign.

Due to our growth, we are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team for 18 – 30 hours per week based on your availability. Though experience is preferred it is not required as training will be provided to the right candidate. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
  • Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Our successful candidate:

  • Knowledge in dental procedures and terminology (training will be provided to the right candidate).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
