Delivery Lead | Data

  • Client offices based in Brisbane, required to be on site 3 days a week

Role Overview:

As a Delivery Lead (Data), you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in data-related aspects across multiple IT projects. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of the data components within these projects. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, data lifecycle management, and data migration within complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact and SME for all data-related matters within assigned IT projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of data components.
  • Utilize expertise in data warehousing, data lifecycle management, and data migration to drive project success.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns related to data deliverables.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to agile principles and practices.
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress, highlighting data-related milestones, risks, and issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.
  • Expertise in data warehousing concepts, data lifecycle management, and data migration techniques.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
