About the Role
Join us as the Senior Manager, Cyber GRC, where you will lead a dedicated team of cyber professionals in crafting and executing robust governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to protect our digital assets and mitigate cyber risks. Your role will involve conducting thorough risk assessments, spearheading compliance initiatives, and collaborating with key stakeholders. By enhancing our cyber resilience, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and accountability, you will be crucial in safeguarding BOQ Group.
About you
We are seeking an individual with relevant experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance roles, who has a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects in cyber governance, risk, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting comprehensive cyber risk assessments and developing effective risk mitigation strategies. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity and data protection is essential. You will ideally also possess the ability to lead and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
The role requires the capacity to provide strategic direction and develop cyber governance frameworks aligned with organisational goals. Additionally, strong stakeholder engagement skills are vital for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and regulatory bodies. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to address complex cybersecurity challenges. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to the banking industry, along with experience in leading compliance assessments and audits, is also required.
