About the role
Redlands offers students a choice of the International Baccalaureate or the Higher School Certificate and each system has its own examination procedures and routines.
Our invigilation team, under the leadership of our Presiding Officer, runs the internal and external examinations in Years 11 and 12 for both systems.
Invigilators supervise students under examination conditions. They ensure that correct procedures are followed as regards time allowances, equipment permitted in the exam room and special provisions.
In particular, it might appeal to someone who is recently retired. This is a Casual position.
About you
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and flexible people to join our team of examination invigilators. The successful applicant will have effective Oral/Written communication skills, good numeracy skills, flexible approach to work, accuracy and attention to detail and is desirable experience of working or studying in a higher education environment and understanding of examination processes.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with young people and who is happy to work in discrete blocks during the year.
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain a paid NSW Working With Children Check.
