THE ROLE

Joining our vastly diverse NSW division, you will be based in Newcastle and working across the NNSW region to assist in the delivery of a range of projects. Working alongside the project manager you will lead the field on projects from set up to completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a range of job scopes including roofing, structural steel, concrete remediation and blast & paint works.

You will also:

  • Manage the onsite coordination of the trade effort
  • Coordinate and supervise trades personnel on projects from set up to completion
  • Assure the safety and compliance of the workforce
  • Contribute and execute the Construction Methodologies and Method of Works Plans
  • Implementation of relevant SWMS, Permits, Isolations and Controls to ensure the safety of the team
  • Quality and workmanship assurance in accordance with quality management processes and documentation
  • Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity
  • Stock control, procurement, and inventory for the direct works on site

  • Trade certification and/or construction qualifications
  • Experience in construction, remediation, and refurbishment projects
  • Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills
