Job Description

  • Developing and executing test plans that assess the functionality and performance of new and existing software applications and services.
  • Working closely with various teams to understand business requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects discovered during testing.
  • Collaborating with developers to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
  • Assisting in the creation of user documentation and training materials.
  • Participating in the review of software design, change specifications, and plan against contractual and/or process requirements.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of the testing process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Analyst should have:

  • A solid understanding of software development life cycle models and agile testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in technical writing including comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify test requirements and potential improvements.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
