About the role

This role is responsible for fostering and maintaining high levels of expertise and proficiency among staff members, ensuring adherence to clinical governance standards, and promoting a positive culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  •  Oversee daily operations of the occupational health centre, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to clinical governance standards
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational health services and conduct medical assessments to high standards
  • Coordinate operational management of the Health Centre as required
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, acts, and professional codes
  • Participate in maintaining a safe work environment
  • Engage in annual performance development reviews

We’re looking for:

  • Health background with relevant body registration with AHPRA or ESSA
  • Proficient with digital health systems
  • Successful obtainment of HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (desired)
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical governance, safety and quality requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO450001 (Quality Management systems)
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role with provision of administrative support
  • Experience and ability to manage medium sized projects and understand health challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
