About The Role

Roster: Lifestyle roster (5/4, 4/5, 5/5) with 12.5-hour day and night shifts. 
Reporting to: Field Maintenance Superintendent.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, coaching, and developing team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and mentoring others.

Managing and executing daily maintenance of a large mobile maintenance fleet.

Providing practical input into all relevant short and long-term maintenance plans.

Increasing equipment availability and reliability by ensuring all maintenance activities are planned and carried out to a high standard, safely and timely.

Assisting the Superintendent in implementing safety and productivity strategies.

Playing an active role in all incident investigations under your control.

Creating solutions with self-motivation to develop plans for challenges presented in the workplace.

About You

We seek individuals with a proven track record in leading and developing employees, driving safety, maintenance improvement, cost reduction, and equipment performance and selection. As a Field Maintenance Supervisor, you will be capable of operating unsupervised and possess excellent knowledge of mobile plant and NSW coal mining legislation.

Additionally, you will hold:

A mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.

Extensive post-trade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.

Previous leadership experience.

A strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and community.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring.

The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Knowledge of relevant mining legislation, including NSW DII MDGs, codes of practice, and relevant Australian Standards.
