Advanced Buildings and Restorations are an established construction and restoration business with offices Nationally in VIC, NSW, the ACT and QLD. We are one of Australia's most trusted and experienced Insurance Building and Repair providers and we specialise in Insurance Repair and Strata work involving large and technical projects. We have long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters. 
 
We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team in Brisbane/Sunshine Coast This role will be responsible for ensuring cost estimates are produced in a timely and competitive manner to secure ongoing opportunities and work.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Produce detailed scope of works and cost estimates
  • Produce detailed assessment reports and review external contractor reports to establish all information is accurate
  • Control and manage a portfolio of multiple tenders in process
  • Coordinate site meeting with sub-contractor trades to obtain tender costs where required
  • Ensure timely completion of estimate and tender ensuring KPI’s are met and exceeded
  • Develop relationships with clients and external stakeholders to secure ongoing opportunities

As the ideal applicant you will possess:  

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the building code of Australia
  • Previous estimating experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a trade-based background
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
