Job Description Summary

The Site Receptionist shall be responsible for managing access to the Epsom Water Reclamation Plant site, located at 140 Howard St. Epsom, through the main electronic access gate.
The purpose of the role is to maintain a high level of site security by receiving requests for site access via the intercom facility at the front gate, granting/denying that access as appropriate and ensuring all site visitors sign in at the Site Reception area before ‘passing them on’ to their site contact. This service shall be provided between the hours of 0700 to 1700 hrs, split between 2 roles covering the hours of 0700 to 1200 hrs and 1200 hrs to 1700 hrs. with coverage for leave, sickness, and other absences periodically providing some overtime opportunity.
Faults with the electronic gate shall be reported to the Service Stream Maintenance team (or Coliban Water facilities if a software/control system issue).
In the event of a power outage manual operation of the gate may be required.
