VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic patient care focused full time Veterinary Nurse to join our busy general practice team at the Willoughby Veterinary Hospital. We are located in Willoughby, NSW.
The remuneration for this position is $73,150 plus super annuation per annum. Overseas sponsorship can be considered for the ideal candidate by VetPartners Australia.
At Willoughby Vet Hospital, we appreciate just how integral vet nurses are in the smooth running of the Practice, and we are seeking a motivated individual who wants to enhance their skillset and grow their nursing career.
Your role and responsibilities:
Assisting veterinarians in day-to-day procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, triage and emergency treatments.
Assisting with radiography, ultrasound and GP procedures
Cleaning and sterilising equipment, cages, surgery and examination table
Admission and discharge of patients
Performing pathology and diagnostic tests
Scheduling appointments, processing of payments and maintaining patient file information

About You:
You must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

Must have a current Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing plus at least 2 years of employment experience or demonstrate equivalent on-the-job experience of at least 3 years.
