Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified motor mechanic with a strong interest in 4x4 vehicles to join our St Peters team as a 4x4 Vehicle Accessory Fitter. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical expertise who is eager to apply their skills to installing and optimizing a wide range of 4x4 accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Install and Fit Accessories: Apply your mechanical knowledge to install a variety of 4x4 accessories including bull bars, suspension systems, roof racks, winches, and more.

·         Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure precise fitment and functionality of accessories.

·         Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Utilize your troubleshooting skills to address and rectify any issues that arise during the fitting process.

·         Workshop Procedures: Follow all WHS and SOP procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.

·         General Duties: Assist with workshop upkeep, including cleaning, tidying, and maintaining a well-organized workspace.

Skills and Attributes:

·         Qualified Motor Mechanic: Must hold a relevant motor qualification or trade certification.

·         Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in 4x4 vehicle accessory fitting or similar mechanical roles.

·         Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools effectively.

·         Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality workmanship.

·         Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·         Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
