With continued high growth and a significant and varied pipeline of engagements, the BDO Sydney Corporate Finance team are seeking to appoint a Valuations Manager to join the team. Your new opportunity

With a focus on the mid-market, the team provides a broad range of Corporate Finance to an array of industries. In your new role you will:

  • Interact directly with senior management of our clients
  • Perform valuations including:
    • Business valuations
    • Equity valuations
    • Purchase price allocations
    • Derivatives (including share based payments)
    • Infrastructure valuations
    • Independent Experts Reports
  • Collaboratively managing the team and delivering quality outcomes for our clients
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
  • Be actively involved in business development, as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
  • Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.

Reporting directly to Partners, you will work closely with all staff across a range of Corporate Finance services as well as with other service lines including audit, tax and advisory.

What you’ll bring to the role

Experience in a Valuation Services role in an accounting or advisory firm with a focus on client advisory, people and engagement management.

  • Great communication skills
  • Valuation and research skills 
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including, Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business or Finance
