About the Role:
You will be the Team Leader for the Narrabeen Retirement Living administration team, responsible for ensuring the team provide a high quality customer service experience for residents, visitors and employees. The reception desk is the first point of contact for residents, relatives and employees, supporting the day-to-day administration and reception functions for the Village.

The reception team provide a broad range of general administration support, including but not limited to, making appointments, first point of contact at reception, high volume of inbound calls, diary management, meeting room bookings, first level of complaint handling, filing, and scanning.

In addition, this Team Leader role will be responsible for:

  • Management and oversight of tasks and responsibilities of reception team members.
  • Allocation of tasks
  • First point of escalation for queries and complaints
  • Ownership of service quality and customer service
  • Responsible for adherence to processes and procedures by the team
  • Rostering of shifts and breaks
  • Resolution of minor staff issues prior to escalation to the manager

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Experienced Administration Team Leader in Aged Care or a similar Health Care organisation
  • Experience in a front-facing customer service role
  • Experience in prioritising and allocation of tasks and supporting a team
  • High level administration, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to efficiently respond to inbound calls and emails as well as in-person enquiries
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills along with written and verbal skills
  • Resilience and ability to manage complaints and problem solve
  • Above average computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office and experience in CRM systems

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
