Volunteer opportunities include supporting our allied health therapy teams working with children and adults, supporting our Lifestyles, sports and accommodation clients, or gaining experience in our corporate services.

Details of the role:

Our powered wheelchair intensive is designed for anyone looking to build and further develop their powered mobility skills and confidence. The program is delivered through a one-on-one approach where participants will work closely with a therapist each day to effectively develop and fine tune their powered mobility goals.

  • Supporting the set up and pack up of the days events.

  • Supporting the OT team in supporting the clients navigating the activities and courses through out the day. (obstacle courses etc)

  • Observing and liaising with the clients and their families.

Dates & Times:

Dates: 8th - 12th July 2024

Times: 9:00am - 3:30pm

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Build experience engaging with children with disabilities

  • Witness and contribute to strength and capacity building through evidence-based approaches

  • Work in a team of experienced health professionals

  • Collaboratively work towards client goals

  • Learn about the variety of services offered by Cerebral Palsy Alliance

Role requirements:

  • 16 years and above

  • NDIS Worker Screening

  • Working with Children Check (NSW)
