Job Description

What You’ll Do

We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator.  Reporting to the Field and Infrastructure Superintendent, this position will lead and support the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance requirements are undertaken in a collaborative manner and achieve optimum business outcomes.

This is a key leadership role accountable for driving maintenance best practise and continuous improvement while optimising availability through the development and implementation of effective maintenance delivery practices.

Some of your duties may include:

  • Lead the implementation of maintenance best practice techniques and processes to ensure a continuous improvement culture while driving the business forward.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in service outcomes, and productivity of delivery, through the implementation of standardised works management processes whilst working collaboratively with operational counterparts to achieve customer, regulatory and financial objectives.
  • Responsible for inputs into the planning programme and proactively monitoring the progress of maintenance execution to the plan, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions. 
  • Oversee and implement the governance arrangements to ensure the plan is effectively delivered.
  • Providing effective quality assurance and ensuring the delivery integrity of the maintenance program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards
  • Monitoring the maintenance budget, measuring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the plan progresses while reporting on variances.

What You’ll Bring

Key to your success will be your:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or Trade (electrical preferred) with significant industry experience across the areas of asset management, capital and maintenance delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and ability to, supervise internal/external teams delivering electrical, mechanical and civil maintenance and capital programs.
  • Dragline maintenance experience highly regarded. 
  • Demonstrated substantial knowledge and experience in large and complex capital and maintenance programs.
  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving capability with superior communication, active listening and influencing skills
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills

This is a permanent role, working the a 7/7 roster.
