This opportunity

The Finance Manager is responsible for partnering with the Executive General Manager IT & Digital and IT General Managers in shaping IT in the most efficient cost structure to drive company value, sharing insights and recommendations with the IT leadership team.

With a strong finance and analytical background, you are commercially astute with the interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders. You will enjoy addressing "hands on" issues with the business and will be dedicated to promptly delivering high quality outcomes to senior managers. This is an outstanding role where your enthusiasm, initiative and passion will ensure your ongoing success.

Responsibilities

Responsible for month-end activities that support the accurate reporting & analysis of the business performance and underlying operational expenditure. This includes provision of commentary/analysis and insight on operational costs as well as preparation of monthend packs for key stakeholders. Support the development of the annual budget, Rolling Forecast and Long-range plan working closely with stakeholders within IT, One Tech organisation and Finance Provide strategic commercial and financial leadership on all aspects of IT's decisions to relevant GM and IT Leadership teams Preparing and reviewing capital investment criteria to ensure business case integrity and robustness, which makes post-implementation reviews easily accessible/readily available and reporting on the prioritisation of projects within budget constraints Support overall One TECH organisation initiatives. Continually drive improvement in processes, reporting and analysis of monthly results and directing the financial planning of forecasts, budgets and long term strategy. Preparing and reviewing capital investment criteria to ensure business case integrity and robustness, which makes post-implementation reviews easily accessible/readily available and reporting on the prioritisation of projects within budget constraints.

Knowledge and experience

Preferred CPA/CIMA/CA or equivalent. 5+ years experience post qualification. Strong Excel skills including experience in financial modelling. Excellent stakeholder management capability, able to influence and steer actions and decision making at Exec level. Can negotiate and resolve competing priorities.
