Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair tanks, and other pressure vessels.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing boiler systems to optimize performance.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices in boilermaking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within the mechanical or industrial engineering field.
  • Experience dealing with pressure vessels, and related components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fabrication and welding.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industrial environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other engineers and staff.
