Your New Opportunity:

An excellent full time, permanent opportunity exists for an experienced Store Person to join our dynamic parts team in our Mackay Branch.

What you will do:

  • Have an attention to detail ensuring accurate picks the first time.
  • Receive and check off arrival of inventory from branches, overseas suppliers, air freight forwarders and local suppliers, including computer operation
  • Assisting to provide regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate and appropriate supply and guidelines are adhered to
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch, using the appropriate computer operating system
  • General warehouse duties
  • Participate in stocktakes
  • Other duties designated by Customer Service Manager.

About You:

  • Currently hold forklift and driver's licences
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • Ability to accurately complete basic mathematical sums
  • Understanding of basic parts warehousing principles
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, both from customers and management
  • Ability to work un-supervised
