About the Role

The Senior Manager Revenue and Balance Sheet Analytics primary role is to oversee the governance, production, reporting and analysis of the bank’s Net Interest Income (NII) through the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework. The successful candidate will look after the following key responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the bank’s Balance Sheet and NII Forecasting methodology and capability.
  • Manage and co-ordinate stakeholder assumptions and inputs into the Balance Sheet and NII Forecast models.
  • Prepare monthly Net Interest Income (NII) and Balance Sheet forecasts.
  • Prepare the annual NII budget.
  • Communicate forecast and budget outcomes, key drivers and actuals result against forecast/budget with stakeholders.
  • Preparation of half yearly external revenue and balance sheet disclosure items and analysis.
  • Conduct periodic analysis of the bank’s NIM against peers.
  • Produce product and segment level revenue analysis.
  • Review product pricing proposals.

About you

We are looking for a “go-getter” to come in and hit the ground running in the position of Senior Manager Revenue and Balance Sheet Analytics. We are open to candidates who both are experienced in a Senior Manager role or who are looking to take the next step in their career. We are ideally looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics or similar with a strong focus on quantitative topics.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex problems with incomplete information against tight deadlines.
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in banking, preferably in finance, risk or treasury.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), bank balance sheet management and accounting standards.
  • High level of general mathematical ability.
  • Advanced spread-sheeting and financial modelling capability.
  • Understanding of mathematical principles underlying the valuation of financial products.
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or QRM is advantageous.
