AAPA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Regional Express Holdings Ltd (Rex), Australia’s largest independent regional airline based at Wagga Wagga. AAPA provides the highest quality flight training to airline standards, including the successful delivery of the Rex Pilot Cadet Programme since 2007 and training a growing number of cadets destined for Vietnam Airlines, utilising Piper Warrior III and Seminole aircraft fitted with EFIS cockpits and advanced GPS equipment.

AAPA is currently seeking a suitably qualified individual as a full time housekeeper to join the team based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Position Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of this position is to ensure all planned cleaning to all of the facilities within the campus is managed and completed to the appropriate standards in addition to below;

  • Clean, prepare campus accommodation rooms including laundry and ironing
  • Clean student common rooms including vacuuming, rubbish removal and bathroom cleaning and re stocking of amenities
  • Clean and remove rubbish from all classrooms, simulators, recreational facilities, offices and dining hall, including bathrooms/toilet cleaning and re stocking of amenities
  • Attention to detail

Selection Criteria:

  • Has previous experience in housekeeping and cleaning of facilities/rooms
  • Be able Monday to Friday
  • Must be physically fit
  • Be able to multi-task and work a tight timeline
  • Possess a commitment towards occupational health, safety and quality management processes
  • Hold a current NSW Driver’s License
  • Work as a team
  • Has basic computer skills
