As an Applications Specialist you will be part of a team of specialists supporting our sales account managers and customers across Oceania.

This role will primarily support our automated liquid handler systems and multimode plate readers.

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Provide training to new customers on revvity workflow solutions focusing on our automated liquid handling systems and multimode detection systems Work with customer to develop workflows utilizing these solutions Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for customers Support the greater sales team with pre-sales activities including specifying workflow solutions, conducting demonstration, and providing expert scientific advice Build customer relationships will be through in-person or virtual consultation with individual customers with respect to their projects & needs Assist in the preparation of documents for tenders Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (biomedical sciences, molecular biology, genetics, bioengineering, biotechnology, biochemistry or relevant field) +3 years’ experience in research or industry Work well in a team-oriented environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Enthusiasm for new technology and desire to learn. Experience with liquid handling robots and/or desire to do learn. Must have a “can do” attitude and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused individual with the empathy and skills to understand and address customer concerns. Results-driven with excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills Willingness to travel (approximately ~10-25% of time) Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) is a plus
