Within the QLD market JLL deliver Valuations and Advisory services across a premier client base incorporating residential projects, commercial, retail and industrial properties. The Gold Coast team prides itself in having a strong client base across all segments of the market and is often sought out by our clients to undertake more complex valuation assignments.

Our Assistant Valuer role requires a provision of analytical skills, valuations and financial capability working within the valuations team.

What this job involves:

  • You will work alongside a Director with the opportunity to inspect, prepare reports and investigate/analyse the market. You will gain a thorough understanding of Residential projects and development sites with a particular focus on medium and high rise apartments as well as land subdivisions.
  • You will be given extensive training in the use of the most advanced financial and sensitivity programs (Estate Master Cash Flow and Investment Models) to be utilised in valuation reports.
  • You will be encouraged to attend appropriate client functions and seminars as well as our specialised preparation and mentoring to assist with Accreditation as a Valuer.

  • Completed or nearing completion of Tertiary qualifications in a property related field
  • A passion for the property industry
  • A high degree of computer literacy, sound knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service ethic
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Ability to work within tight time constraints and multitask
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
