About the role
This is a newly created in a managed SOC team, this role is focused on acting as an escalation point for a team of more junior analysts, working on CTI and Incident Response. The team utilises a SIEM built on Elastic and are in the early stages of implementing a SOAR platform. To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience as a level 2 or 3 analyst with experience in a combination of CTI or Incident Response.

Duties

  • Act as escalation point for a Security analyst team
  • Incident Response
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence work
  • Collaboration with other internal teams across engineering
  • SOAR implementation and fine tuning

Skills and experience

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a Security Analyst
  • Strong skills with a SIEM platform - could be Splunk, Elastic, Sumo or others
  • Broad technical exposure across security products and platforms
  • Ability to lead Incident Response or Threat Intelligence as required
  • Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
  • Industry certifications are highly regarded
