About the Role:

We are currently seeking patient, customer service-oriented Casual Multiskilled Carers to join our team. In this role, you will partner with residents to meet their daily living, social, and emotional needs, delivering person-centered care that enhances their quality of life.

This is a casual position offering flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, on both weekdays and weekends. There are also opportunities to transition into permanent roles in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with hygiene needs, including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Support residents in maintaining or restoring their independence by assisting with activities of interest and mobility aids as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, reporting relevant information to Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as required.
• Maintain effective workplace communication, demonstrating respect, openness to change, and kindness.
• Assist with medication administration in accordance with Juniper policies.

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or equivalent) – essential
• Minimum 12 months' experience as a carer in an aged care or acute healthcare setting – essential
• Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
• Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide care tailored to individual goals
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents

• Attractive remuneration: $33.25 - $33.76 per hour (dependent on experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
• Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax-free
