O’Brien Electrical Alexandria has a great opportunity for an Australian Qualified Electrician to join our highly motivated, Sydney-based team

Your new job will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Work directly with the owner of the company
  • Learn new skills 
  • Work with our highly varied customer base. 
  • Be part of a growing company

The successful applicant will require the following qualifications and attributes:

  • NSW Electrical Licence
  • Industry White Card
  • Drivers Licence
  • The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
  • The ability to supervise apprentices
  • Experience in reading electrical plans and understanding project documentation
  • Experience in the commercial and/or industrial sectors
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, for liaising with customers and team members

The following skills would be an advantage:

  • Experience in CCTV, Alarms & access control systems
  • Experience in Data Communications
  • Experience in Automation Systems
  • Safe working at heights including EWPs
  • Fault finding in electrical control circuits
