Enrolled Nurse

Joining the friendly and supportive staff at Karoonda Hospital, you will assist with providing nursing care to aged care clients, outpatients, acute clients and Accident & Emergency on a casual basis.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team, Implement appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialised procedures from nursing care plans. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with clients’ medication administration within your scope of practice and also participate in quality activities within the health service. Plan and prioritise your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when it is required to solve problems arising in your work area. Working for us you will have opportunities for participation in projects within the workforce, whilst enjoying a rural lifestyle within a welcoming community.You will be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
Karoonda and District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to outpatients and aged care beds. Accident and Emergency services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and we offer residential care facilities at the adjoining aged care facility.
