About the role:

Looking for a Project Manager with experience in Cyber Incident Response to join the InfoSec Program and coordinate the execution of several tabletop exercises across the business, and a company-wide crisis simulation. The PM would need to manage our vendor (Trustwave) to deliver/facilitate these exercises. The PM needs to have an understanding of Cyber Response, ability to engage with senior leaders and strong organisation to manage various stakeholders across the business for the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with Trustwave and internal teams to develop detailed project plans for incident response engagements.
    • Ensure the efficient execution of incident response projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Act as the main point of contact between the organisation and Trustwave, fostering a strong partnership.
    • Monitor vendor performance, contract compliance, and service delivery to ensure alignment with project goals.
  3. Incident Response Coordination:
    • Lead incident response efforts, coordinating all activities from detection to containment and eradication.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
  4. Communication and Reporting:
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates on incident progress and resolutions.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive incident reports to stakeholders, including root cause analysis and recommendations for mitigation.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and issues within incident response projects and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement best practices to enhance incident response processes and security measures.
  6. Documentation and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of incident response activities, including evidence preservation, chain of custody, and post-incident analysis.
    • Assist in creating incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future incidents.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, legal, compliance, and IT, to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in project management within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and incident response methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Trustwave solutions and incident response services is a plus.
