Job description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources officer to join our clients team in Dandenong South.

As a member of the HR team this role is critical to the provision of timely and accurate support and advice to all stakeholders regarding employment entitlements and conditions, employment law and Work Cover processes and procedures. The HR Officer will be primarily responsible for the management of all employee's personnel files, as well as the daily responsibility for Work Cover management and RTW activities within their respective regions.

Features:

  • Casual ongoing position with 9 month contract
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift - 8 hour days
  • $45 per hour plus super
  • Located in Dandenong South

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing recruitment for your region
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Preparing employment contracts
  • Organise short-term labour hire when required
  • Preparing and managing termination documentation
  • Lodging and managing Work cover claims from lodgement to closure
  • Assisting with general HR enquiries
  • Participating in team meetings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in an administration environment
  • Experience and training as a return to work officer
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs
