We are seeking an experienced Director, Finance Systems to join our client, located in Canberra, ACT.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage key financial systems and projects to support the Directorate's goals.
  • Provide high-level advice to the Chief Finance Officer and other senior stakeholders.
  • Lead a team in maintaining and developing financial systems, including the TM1 budgeting system.
  • Play a strategic role in improving finance processes and delivering responsive support to business units.

About You: You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in finance systems improvement projects.
  • Strong background in financial or management accounting roles.
  • High-level analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to public service values, equity, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting/finance, with CAANZ or CPA Australia membership highly desirable.
