Logistics Assistant

Description:
people2people have been engaged by a well-renowned client within North Ryde region to recruit for a temporary logistics assistants with potential to become permanent. Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of medical devices and its products are sold nationwide and internationally.
As the Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Scanning moulds of hearing aids into system using specialised equipment
  • Working with small devices and completing minor assembly work
  • Processing orders into systems
  • Cross-referencing, inventory and quality control
  • Stock replenishment and general warehouse duties such as labelling, palletising, wrapping, and put-aways.

This position will be working FULL TIME, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, paying $31.00 an hour + Super.
 
Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse/logistics experience is a MUST
  • Exceptional reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills using ERP systems daily
  • Ability to multitask daily duties and work autonomously
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work autonomously
  • Have UNRESTRICTED AND FULL TIME working rights in Australia - Must be able to work Monday to Friday
