Our School of Psychology & Public Health is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Lecturer in Psychological Science. This is a full-time continuing position that offers the chance to be at the forefront of teaching and curriculum development in psychological science, mental health, and wellbeing. If you have a passion for nurturing future psychologists and making a tangible difference in students' lives, we invite you to join our esteemed faculty.
What you will do:
Craft and deliver engaging tutorials, practical classes, and workshops that captivate and educate our students.
Lead cutting-edge curriculum design, incorporating employability skills and innovative teaching methodologies.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate and honours students in research projects, guiding them towards academic excellence.
Engage in scholarly work that enhances the learning and teaching of psychological science, contributing to the broader academic community.
Skills and experience
a PhD or Master's degree (or equivalent) in psychology or a closely related field. A proven track record of effective teaching and curriculum development across various modes of delivery, evidenced by positive student feedback or other measures. A deep understanding of current and emerging teaching methods and pedagogies. The ability to engage in and contribute to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning or related areas. Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive environment.We have other current jobs related to this field that you can find below
